Online Store
Every SnapOS account includes a free hosted storefront. Publish your catalogue online, share your store link with customers, and receive orders directly through the app.
Setting Up Your Store Slug
- 1
Go to Settings → Business
Find the 'Store Slug' field. This becomes the last part of your public URL: snapos.app/store/your-slug
- 2
Choose a unique slug
Type your preferred slug (letters, numbers, hyphens only). A green tick appears when the slug is available. Red means it's taken — try a variation.
- 3
Save your settings
Tap 'Save'. Your store is now live at the displayed URL. Share this link with customers via WhatsApp, Instagram bio, Google Business, or anywhere else.
Keep your slug short and memorable — it's the URL you'll share everywhere.
What Customers See
Your public storefront shows your business name, logo, and a browsable catalogue of all products that have stock (or are service items). Customers can filter by category and view product details including price and description. The storefront is mobile-optimised and loads fast on any device.
Controlling Which Products Appear
- 1
Products with stock are shown automatically
Any product with a stock quantity greater than zero (or marked as a service item) appears in the online store.
- 2
Out-of-stock items are hidden
When a product's stock reaches zero, it is automatically hidden from the storefront. Restock it and it reappears.
- 3
Service items always show
Service items (those with 'Service Item' toggled on) are always visible since they don't track stock.
Set accurate stock levels in your Items screen to keep the storefront up to date automatically.
Sharing Your Store Link
- 1
Copy the link from Business Settings
Go to Settings → Business. The full store URL is shown below the slug field. Tap the copy icon.
- 2
Share it anywhere
Paste the link in your WhatsApp status, Instagram bio, Google Business profile, printed flyers, or email signature.
- 3
Generate a QR code (coming soon)
A QR code generator for your store link is in development — print it on packaging, menus, or receipts.
Storefront Customisation (Coming Soon)
Upcoming features include: custom banner image, business hours display, featured products section, and a contact/enquiry button. These will be configurable from Settings → Storefront.
Customer Orders via Storefront (Coming Soon)
Online ordering — where customers can add items to a cart and submit an order request — is planned for a future release. Orders placed online will appear in your Transactions screen alongside in-person POS sales.
