Reports & Analytics

SnapOS gives you real-time visibility into every aspect of your business — sales trends, top products, stock value, tax collected, and shift-level performance.

Overview Tab

    Navigate to Reports

    Tap 'Reports' in the main navigation. The Overview tab loads your key KPIs for the selected date range.

    Key metrics

    Gross Revenue, Net Income, Total Orders, and Average Order Value are shown as stat cards. Below are Sales by Category (bar chart) and Payment Mode Distribution.

    Change the date range

    Use the date range dropdown in the top-right corner (Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, This Year) to filter all report data.

💡

Low Stock Alerts appear at the bottom of the Overview tab — tap any alert to go directly to that item's stock history.

Sales by Item Tab

Shows revenue and units sold for every product in the selected date range. Use the search bar to find a specific item, filter by category using the chips, and sort by Revenue or Qty Sold.

Stock Valuation Tab

Shows the current stock value (cost price × stock) and potential revenue (selling price × stock) for every product. Useful for insurance, accounting, and purchasing decisions.

Tax Summary Tab

Shows the total tax collected in the date range, broken down by tax code and rate. Export this tab as PDF or CSV for your accountant.

Stock History

    Open Stock History from Reports

    Tap the '↕ Stock History' button in the Reports AppBar to see every stock movement across all items.

    Drill down from an individual item

    In the Items screen, tap the ↕ icon next to any product to open Stock History filtered to that item only.

    Movement types

    SALE movements (red, negative qty) show stock deducted by sales. ADJUSTMENT movements (green, positive qty) show manual stock additions.

Shift Reports

    Access Shift Reports

    Tap 'Shift Reports' in the Reports AppBar. A list of all cash register sessions appears.

  2. 2

    Read a shift summary

    Each shift shows opening cash, total sales, cash movements, expected cash, and actual close amount — ideal for end-of-day reconciliation.

Exporting Reports

    Tap the Export button

    The download icon in the Reports AppBar opens a menu with 'Export CSV' and 'Export PDF' options.

  2. 2

    Choose your format

    CSV exports are ideal for Excel/Google Sheets. PDF exports are formatted for printing and sharing.

  3. 3

    Share via any app

    After export, your device's share sheet opens — send via WhatsApp, email, Dropbox, or any installed app.

💡

Each report tab exports its own data. Switch to the tab you need (e.g. Tax Summary) before tapping Export.
